Noida _This Sunday, 20th June 2021, Gautam Buddha University organised a grand Alumni Meet for the students of University School of Information and Communication Technology USICT. This was the first Alumni Meet. The enthusiasm shown by alumni of USICT was exemplary, as more than 500 Alumni attended this event.
The participants from around the world attended the event.
Chief Guest Vice Chancellor Professor Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, Dean USICT Prof Sanjay Sharma, Registrar Dr Vishwas Tripathi, Dean Academic Prof N P Melkania inaugurated the Alumni Meet.
The School of ICT has alumni working in high paying corporate jobs, alumni who are entrepreneurs and alumni who are IAS officers and Civil Servants. A few of these young and aggressive achievers rejoiced and shared their stories with each other. Alumni Niharika, Nivesh and Vrinda hosted the event.These alumni also had the opportunity to interact with the former deans and faculty of the USICT, like Prof Sanjay Jasola and Prof Bharmjit Singh, joining from various parts of the country.
The event started at 4:30 PM and ended at 6:30 PM. Vice Chancellor Prof Sharma said that the University has planned this series of Alumni Meets for all schools in a phased manner. He said the energy and response of the Alumni shows the connect emotional they hold for the University and their peers, which in turn is a great achievement for faculty in staff and shows the emotional strength they are able to create amount students of GBU.The event was organised by Corporate Relations Cell and USICT and the committee members included Dr Pradeep Tomar, Dr Vinay Litoria, Dr. Navaid Rizvi, Mr Abhinav Sharma, Dr Vimlesh Kr.
